Important Update – COVID-19 Vaccine

The NHS will start giving the coronavirus vaccine as soon as it is available. Breckland Alliance have been approved as a Wave 1 site and this will commence next week from the 15th December.

Please do not contact your GP Practice to request a COVID-19 vaccine. You will be contacted when it’s your turn to be vaccinated.

The vaccine will be offered to people who are most at risk from coronavirus, before being offered more widely. This will begin with patients that are over 80 years old.

It’s really good news we have a vaccine approved for use, but rolling it out will take time so please be patient.

The best thing we can all do to protect ourselves, our families and our communities is to remember – Hands, Face, Space.
