- Having your blood pressure checked periodically (maximum of 5 yearly intervals for the over 45s)

- Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening
- Cardiovascular disease prevention – Patients aged 40 to 74 are being invited for an NHS Health Check. The health check includes:
- Blood pressure measurement
- Height/weight
- Lifestyle assessment
- Gathering information about family history of heart disease and stroke.
- A simple blood test to check your cholesterol
