Appointments

If you wish to request an appointment, please visit our Consulting Room.

For more information, please read our Appointments System leaflet.

Routine Appointments

For all routine appointments with our doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants, you will be offered the next available appointment within the next four weeks.

If you would like to speak to your named GP but feel that you do not need to see them in person, please request a telephone consultation and you will be offered a morning or afternoon time slot with your GP.

Online Services Appointments

Appointments can be viewed, made or cancelled using our online services, SystmOnline. In order to sign up to this service, you will need to complete our Register for Online Services form and then come into the practice to provide ID to complete the registration.

Emergency Triage Appointments

If you have a medical emergency that needs to be dealt with on the same day, your details will be passed on to the telephone triage clinic. Please remember, all of our receptionists are fully trained and subject to medical confidentiality.

This information is given to the GP who will initially contact you by telephone in order to prioritise your need to be seen in the surgery on the day. All triage requests must be made by 11:00.

Please ensure you are available to take the call and that you have given the correct telephone number in your request.

Clinical Photographs

Photos sent to the practice may be stored on the patient’s record. If you have any specific objections, please contact the practice immediately.

Cancellations

It is important that you let us know if you need to cancel your appointment so that it can be booked by another patient.

Please note, patients who repeatedly miss their appointments and do not let us know that they will not be attending may be removed from our practice list.

Please read our policy in our Missed Appointments page.

Alternatives to Booking a GP Appointment

It is not always necessary to come to the surgery and there may be alternatives to requesting an appointment. Please visit our Treatment Room or Wellbeing Centre for information about self help and minor illnesses or injuries.
